2025 is an exciting year for the Ram 2500. The Ram Heavy Duty trucks have been redesigned to better align with their little sibling, the Ram 1500. Here is what we know so far.

New Looks

The Ram 2500 has a redesigned grille and tailgate that mimics the looks of the Ram 1500. While the outside of a truck is basically the same in theory, the design of the 2025 Ram 2500 really shows off the style that is distinctly Ram.

Engine Upgrades

The Powertrain cooling system of the Ram 2500 has been upgraded for 2025. Better cooling allows for better performance. And better performance on a truck means better towing.

All the Same Trims

The trim levels Ram drivers have come to enjoy are all back. From the fleet-focused Tradesman to the premium appointed Tungsten. With nine trim levels in the lineup, there is a Ram 2500 for every driver.

Safety Features

A few safety features made their way onto the 2025 Ram 1500 as standard, like automated emergency braking and pedestrian detection. Blind-spot monitoring and cross-traffic alert are also standard on the Ram 1500. While these were available on the 2024 Ram 2500, they were not standard. This could easily change, given some of the preview photos that have been posted.
